1814 - Indian Treaties

          In April, Andrew Jackson attacks Creeks at Horseshoe Bend.  More than 1,000 Creek warriors, allies of the British, are killed.  To make peace, Jackson demands the tribe to cede 20 million acres to the U.S..

  • July - new treaties with the Wyandots and Delawares.
  • August - Andrew Jackson dictates peace to Creeks at Treaty of Fort Jackson.
